The EXTRA 330 SC is a single-seat, low-wing aerobatic monoplane with conventional taildragger landing gear, offering incredible aerobatic performance. The engines are Lycoming AEIO-580 but have been pumped and are producing about 340-350 hp. It is a carbon fiber wing assembly with an integral tank, carbon composite empennage structure, which also has a fuselage assembly, 1.7734 steel. The engine has two fuel pumps (1 engine-driven, 1 electric). Steerable, lightweight tailwheel with fiberglass landing gear spring. It is a single-seat bubble canopy with carbon pushrods and a titanium firewall.
